Tensor Field was developed by Mike Sorrentino to simplify and accelerate his own process when mixing records, by condensing multiple separate processing tools into one.
He also developed it to make it easier for anyone to achieve a more powerful, glued, and competitive sounding mix even in unfavorable listening environments.
